I thought I would start the first thread to find out what everyone's plans are to get fit. Here's my plan:
1.) Start getting up earlier. 2.) Lift weights. 3.) Whole 30 style eating. 4.) More cardio. (If you know what I mean)
Also, I plan on making fun of others until they give up.
How about you?

Pretty much my plan is the same as yours. Also I'm going to download some apps on my phone to get me on a weekly plan. I'm going to definitely do the "Couch to 5k" app to start training myself for running. Any other good apps out there you all know about? I don't want to do calorie counting, I just don't have the patience for that. I figure if I do portion control and eat in a style like Whole 30, I'll be good.
Just gotta do exercise and lots of it!

Diet: 8 months of heavy drinking and binge eating....then 4 weeks of bulimia! Exercise: I'm going to chase squirrels around in my backyard with a bb gun
side note: Once everybody has paid in to the account, I will steal the money and live in Mexico for the next 132 days!

My real plan... I'd like to try bodyweight training. I have lifted pretty heavy in the past. Every time the weights got heavy I began having joint pains. I may still do squats and deadlifts, but I'd like to keep the weights a little lower. This may seem like a comment from Ralph Sr, but I really enjoy walking for cardio.
Diet: I'm going to try to eat decent, but certainly not strict. I don't like diets and I've never stuck to one. I'm going to try intermittent fasting.
Drink lots of water. I don't want to drink many calories...that being said I don't intend to stop drinking bourbon either.

My plan; Start fast Then Im gonna run fast in the middle Then im going to end fast. ? Mine is similar to Ralph and Ericas plan. 1) follow a whole 30/paleo diet (allow brown rice, red or sweet potatoes on cardio days) 2) Start walking and doing strength training. 3) after I lose 10 pounds start couch 2 5K Also I have turbo jam so may incorporate that in my regimen as well. 4) Drink a butt load of water every day.

Reduce intake to a strict diet of craft beer only... or will I? You don't know! I wont let my secrets go!!!
That or a lot of cardio.

So predictable... I'll be doing whole 30/ paleo also. It's the only thing that controls my cravings. It's easy, it works and you don't have to track calories.
I'm actually going to quit my gym membership this week. I have plenty of weights and kettlebells here and I can add to my collection. Plus there are so many home plans and youtube videos. I will be getting back to jogging because I love it! Weather should be getting nice enough to be outside more soon and that is what I enjoy. Maybe we can get together for some weekend hikes in the spring. I've been wanting to do the Billy Goat Trail again at Great Falls.
If any of the ladies want me to email you a gym or home weights program, let me know. I have soo many that I bought from trainers on Instagram.

Shay and I would be down for hikes! We are planning to do one after service on Saturday in Sky Meadow State Park. Not a long trail but beautiful views to hike to.
