Im literally eating three times as much for dinners on days I work out. I just can't stop eating. On other plans I've felt myself trimming down due to water weight going, but Im not feeling it with my current weight lifting and subsequent hunger. Not sure I'm on the right path for optimum fat loss.

Hmmmm....Maybe you should try to increase it to eating 4x as much as usual. If that doesn't help you could just stop exercising all together....Maybe this reply should've been in the smack talk section.

Have you tried working out before dinner? If you workout and then eat dinner within 20-30 mins, many times this will help you to have less of an appetite. You could also try downing a 32oz glass of water before eating dinner.
You are able to eat more on workout days. Carb and calorie cycling is an advanced technique used when trying to lose stubborn pounds. You take in higher carbs and about 500 calories more on days you exercise and less carbs, more fat with 500 or so fewer calories when it's a rest day. You are always going to have more of an appetite on training days, especially when you really push yourself. Try the tips above and see if they help.

Whenever I start working out again I get the huge appetite to start. After a couple of weeks I am back to eating sane amounts. For me the trick is to eat healthier as those weeks progress. That healthier trend is usually pretty natural for me since I start craving better foods when exercising regularly. If you don't get discouraged by eating a bit heavy when you start I'd say just give it a bit of time.
