I'm going to use this space to track everything I eat so I can learn better what Whole30 exactly does to my caloric and nutrient intakes. I'll be making one post per day, and editing that post as I eat throughout the day.
I'm not counting calories, but I am going to track them, out of curiosity.

Clementine. - 35 calories
Half a sweet potato sliced into chips, stalk of celery. - 125 calories
Big sugar cravings this morning, manifesting as a craving for fruit juice, fruit, apple sauce, basically anything cold and sweet. I could have fruit but I decided to slice up some cold, crunchy vegetables and have a glass of water. The raw sweet potatoes are delicious.
2 egg spinach omelette. - 180 calories
Handful of Cashews. - 190 calories
Genghis Grill - 550 calories MUST HAVE ICE CREAM
Fish Tacos and plantains - 300 calories
Handful of cashew, plum, orange - 290
Daily Total - 1860 calories

Looks amazing! What's the red sauce? Cholula Hot Sauce. Good stuff, not so hot that you can't use a lot of it and really get the flavor. I used to think I didn't like eggs... now I realize I just like hot sauce with my eggs!

Uh oh. No posts? Did the brownies and coconut cream pie win yesterday? No, they definitely didn't win. But I did realize that one of the beauties of Whole30 is eating whatever you like (inside of the guidelines) without counting calories! I will be posting here when I make something really good that I want to remember. But I probably won't keep a daily log. Yesterday I had a great salad from Whole Foods and a big steak dinner at Rays the Steaks.

Sliced and salted sweet potato and cucumber give you all the crunch of a tortilla chip but more healthy and a better flavor!
